LA JOLLA, CA -- November 18, 2008 -- Caucho® Technology, Inc., a leading open source Java-PHP application server vendor, today announced that Chief Evangelist and Engineer Emil Ong will present at the Devoxx Conference (formerly known as Javapolis), set to take place from December 8-12 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Emil Ong's presentation will focus on Quercus, Caucho's groundbreaking implementation of PHP in Java. The motivation and implementation details will be discussed along with case studies and use cases. Ong will also address the performance and architectural benefits of running PHP in Java. A business case will be presented for adding PHP to a Java enterprise in order to grow engineering staff.
In addition to Ong's presentation, Caucho® will have booth #43 at the conference exhibit hall. Company co-founder and CEO Steve Montal will be in attendance and available to meet with press and customers.
Devoxx is a major European Java conference that addresses topics including standard and enterprise Java, security, SOA, methodology, mobile and hot beans, among others. Sponsors include Sun Microsystems, Adobe and Capgemini.
