Scott Ferguson, Co-Founder and President

Scott Ferguson designed and wrote Resin. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Philosophy from Stanford University in 1990. His work includes leading JavaSoft's WebTop server, creating Java servers for NFS, DHCP and DNS. He lead performance for Sun Web Server 1.0, the fastest web server on Solaris. Scott also worked on NEC's Virtual Private Net (VPN) server. He developed formal analysis and circuit simulation CAD software for Intel. In his previous life when he actually had spare time, Scott has hacked cool software, including a Unix OS for PC's (before Linux), an X windows replacement, and an object-oriented language with VM faster than Java.

Steve Montal is the co-founder of Caucho. He has a BA from Yale University and a Masters degree from UCLA. Montal runs business and corporate affairs for Caucho. His background includes consulting for Sprint and Interactive Multimedia Learning Technologies and launching programs for the American Film Institute.

Matthew H. Schwartz, General Counsel

Matthew H. Schwartz has served as General Counsel of Caucho Technology since 1998. Schwartz' expertise includes software, general business litigation and intellectual property. He has litigated numerous cases involving claims for breaches of contract, fraud, defamation, false light, publicity rights, copyright infringement and employment related issues.

Serge Knystautas runs Caucho Professional Services, which includes global training, consulting and professional services for Caucho clients. Caucho Professional Services are based in Washington DC and perform work remotely and on-site in the United States and throughout the world. Caucho Professional Services is staffed by Resin Certified Engineers (RCE) that provide a variety of services including technical audits, system optimization, performance tuning, configuration analysis, software and hardware upgrades and training.
