Caucho® Technology announces formation of Caucho® Services
-Professional services to include training and consulting
LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA -- October 29, 2003 -- Caucho® Technology, Inc. today announced the formation of Caucho® Services, which has been organized to provide training and consulting for Resin.
Caucho® Technology produces Resin, a leading application server used by thousands of corporate, education and government clients. With customers that have large and demanding sites including EBay's half.com, AltaVista, the American Red Cross, the Toronto Stock Exchange and Salesforce.com, Resin delivers fast and stable performance under heavy load situations.
Steve Montal, Director of Sales and Strategic Partnerships at Caucho® Technology said, "We designed Caucho® Services to meet the training and consulting needs of our customers." Montal added, "Caucho® Services will provide companies using Resin with a variety of options including on-site consulting, training and education."
Caucho® Services will be available in the United States and throughout the world. The work will be performed by authorized Caucho® partners located in industry centers including San Francisco, Washington DC, Seoul, Beijing, Brussels, Brasilia and numerous other locations.
Caucho® Services will include areas such as system performance reviews, web services, load balancing and effective implementation of Java technologies. Services will be available in English and a variety of other languages including French, German, Dutch, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese.
Rudy D'hauwe, President and CEO of UsToBe Software based in Brussels, Belgium, said, "Caucho® Services will provide a major function to our clients in Europe by providing an infrastructure for consulting and training." D'hauwe added, "many of our clients require on-site consulting with Resin experts, which is exactly the objective of Caucho® Services."
