Resin 4.0.6 features IPv6 support
As a strategic solutions provider, Caucho® released Resin 4.0.6 with IPv6 support to accommodate our partners product planning and offerings. IPv6 is the next-generation Internet protocol that resolves the issue of IPv4 address exhaustion with the added benefits of improved network auto-configuration, routing and security. Government and business mandates across the globe are increasing demand for the technology in a variety of applications, including the web and enterprise spaces. Rapid growth in Asian network infrastructure is driving heavy regional investment, requiring compatibility throughout hardware and software stacks.
TheServerSide Java Symposium 2010 Round-up by Reza Rahman
Speaking at TSSJS in Las Vegas this year was great. I had the opportunity to deliver four presentations: Java EE 6 overview, a keynote on Resin along with a demo, CanDI/CDI with a demo, and finally, a talk on the JCP. All presentations were well attended and the crowd of enthused developers was great. People showed genuine interest on all four topics as indicated by the strong audience numbers and abundant questions during the Q & A sessions. I also received a tremendous amount of questions during the one-on-one after each session as well as at the booth. Folks were particularly interested in some of the CDI/EJB 3.1 features and our portable extensions for JUnit, iBATIS, Quartz and using EJB annotations on managed beans. There were numerous requests for example code for both the CanDI and Resin presentations. I personally enjoyed talking about open participation in the JCP even though it was a relatively short and non-technical talk.
