Quercus in the Cloud with AWS Elastic Beanstalk

Amazon recently launched a new service called the AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
This service allows developers to easily deploy and manage Java web applications on the AWS cloud using a Tomcat software stack. An advantage of the AWS Elastic Beanstalk is that it provides an excellent gateway for developers to run PHP applications on the Amazon cloud, which offers automatic scaling infrastructure and health monitoring. Blogger Cameron Stokes demonstrates how easy it is to run PHP applications on the AWS Elastic Beanstalk using Caucho’s Quercus, a 100% Java implementation of PHP 5.
