“I came upon Resin not in the best of circumstances. I was using another well known Open Source servlet container and my site was falling over under load. After trying everything I could think to configure the other product I downloaded Resin and dropped it into production. My site immediately began handling the peak load and I was immediately sold.”

Snapshot of Resin Eclipse Plug-in
Our recent update to Eclipse plug-in focuses on improving the user experience. The improvement included debug fixes, enhanced Resin configuration file handling and support for deploying to temporary directories. Use our Eclipse update site to download the latest snapshot.

Resin Eclipse features:

    Improved Resin configuration file handling

Resin configuration files are now either copied or linked into the workspace, improving the clarity of the server configuration. A set of sample configurations are included with the plug-in to show different ways of deploying your application.
    Temporary directory deployment support

The plug-in already supports a number of deployment modes such as .war-based and in-place. Now we also support deploying to a temporary directory so you can make sure you’re running from a clean deployment every time.
