How to purchase Resin®
- To pay with Visa, MasterCard or American Express, visit the Caucho online store.

Product and Support Descriptions
Resin Professional must be licensed for all production and deployment environments. Development and evaluation is free of charge for sixty days. All licenses include one year of version updates. After one year, Caucho uses an annual subscription model for continued version upgrades and bug fixes which is described in the following sections of this page.
Technical support is handled by Caucho engineers and not outsourced. When you contact us for a support issue, you receive a fast response directly from our engineers who write the code. Any developer, systems administrator or staff member within your company will be able to use your Caucho support contract, there is no need for one point of contact. This leads to a rapid response time and highly efficient support experience.
Resin Professional:
- Resin Professional application server - 1-4 core CPU. $500 per CPU (for 10 or less CPU's). Includes one year of version upgrades. No additional fees required for virtual machines.
- Site licenses - for sites running more than 10 CPU's. Contact sales@caucho.com for site licenses designed to meet the needs of your enterprise.
- Resin Professional application server - more than 4 core CPU. Contact sales@caucho.com for custom pricing solutions.
Technical support:
- Platinum - priority email support from Caucho engineers with a one business day turnaround. Platinum costs $3000 per year and includes six hours of support that can be used during development, testing, evaluation and production/deployment. Each Platinum agreement provides technical support for up to 10 CPU's.
- Total Care - expanded priority support from Caucho senior engineers and software architects includes telephone and email support. Total Care costs $15,000 per year (also billable as $3750/quarter) and includes twenty hours of support that can be used during development, testing, evaluation and production/deployment. Each Total Care agreement provides technical support for up to 10 CPU's.
Evaluation licenses:
Annual subscription and upgrades
All purchases of Resin include one year of version upgrades. After one year, upgrades and bug fixes are available by purchasing a subscription within 60 days of the end of the license period. An active subscription is required in order to receive the latest versions and bug fixes to our software.
Each time Resin is deployed on a new CPU, you must purchase an additional license.
Annual subscription pricing is as follows:
- Resin Professional annual subscription - 1-4 core CPU. $300 per CPU. Includes one year of version upgrades. No additional fees required for virtual machines.
- Resin Professional annual subscription - more than 4 core CPU. Contact sales@caucho.com for custom pricing solutions.
Resin Platinum and Total Care technical support is renewable on an annual basis and highly recommended.

Caucho Training and Professional Services are available worldwide and include:

- System analysis, configuration and optimization
- Performance review
- System cost review and modeling

- Other specific needs your organization may have
When you request Consulting Services, Caucho will contact you within
one business day by telephone or email to define your needs and time frame. After this initial contact, you can expect the following:
- A detailed pricing quote
- Estimated schedule for required services
- Detailed breakdown of services to be performed
When the consulation concludes, Caucho will contact you to ensure the services met your needs and expectations.
