They're using ASN.1. Yikes. (I can't remember the specifics of ASN.1
since I last looked at it, but I remember it being needlessly
complicated. And they seems to still be enthralled with XSchema.)
One of the weirder comments on that site was that Hessian wasn't a
"real" web services protocol because it wasn't using WSDL. I'd always
thought that was one of Hessian's main strengths.
