I've run Resin 2.1.4 on OSX 10.1 and never seen such incompatibility. You
say you are crashing extracting WAR files and/or compiling the JSPs JIT.
WAR files are extracted using Java libs and JSPs are compiled using the
compiler you chose. You wouldn't be trying to use JIKES on OSX would you?
