The 3.0.2 beta is now available for download.
It it feature-complete, meaning anything wrong you find should be
reported as a bug.
August is planned as purely bug-fixing, performance, and stress testing
with a planned 3.0.3 production release somewhere at the end of August.
Release notes are at
http://www.caucho.com/resin-3.0/features/resin-3.0.2.xtp.
One major change is that the plugins (Apache/IIS) are configured and
handled differently than Resin 2.1. With Resin 3.0, the plugins query a
Resin server for the dispatching and clustering configuration. They no
longer read the resin.conf directly.
The <resource> and <database> configuration syntax has changed again.
The release notes give the details.
And JMX 1.1 support is now integrated with the <resource>
configuration. If you specify a mbean-name, Resin will register the
resource with JMX. Resin's own classes are only partially instrumented.
